Battery life is the main selling point here. The LG X power packs a 4100 mAh non-removable battery, well above what most budget phones offered at launch, and it should comfortably get you through a full day of calls, browsing and video. The 5.3-inch IPS LCD screen runs at 720 x 1280 pixels, fine for everyday use though not sharp by today's standards.

Under the hood you get a Mediatek MT6735 chipset with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage, enough for basic apps and a modest photo library, with a microSD slot to add up to 256 GB if you need more room. The 13 MP rear camera with LED flash handles daylight shots decently, and there's a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
